Automated Systems, Inc. is Awarded a Contract to Design and Implement a Validated Document Management Solution for a Fortune 50 Pharmaceutical Manufacturer

Problem: How do you manage multiple changes by dozens of teams to thousands of manufacturing documents maintained under strict change control polices?

The answer was provided by a Browser-based software system from Automated Systems, Inc (ASI).  ASI recently completed a "Change Optimization Database" for a major medical device manufacturer.  The project was conceived and implemented in twelve weeks, while staying in budget.

The backend of the system is based on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.  The interface was created using Active Server pages and can be accessed from any standard Internet browser.  This allowed our client to quickly implement the system.  Training of the sixty people required for data entry was also facilitated by the use of a browser based system.  "Everyone is familiar with using a browser, and the ASI interface is very intuitive."

Our client is currently using the system and is extremely pleased with its performance to date.
